Shipping

East Coast Hoppers ships worldwide using Canada Post, wherever Canada Post will deliver.  If you have any concerns about whether Canada Post will deliver to your area, please check their website for any country restrictions.

If you are shipping something temperature sensitive like liquid yeast, or if your order is time sensitive, do not use these options.  Instead pay the extra and get tracking and insurance.

Check out Canada Post estimated timelines and coverage comparison for their different shipping options:

East Coast Hoppers reserves the right to use different shipping carriers than those options purchased  For example if an order that is too heavy for Canada Post (max 30 kg) is placed, it will be shipped out using a courier such as Canpar, Purolator etc.  We also reserve the right to cancel orders in the rare event that the shipping rate far exceeds the items value.

Orders placed before 2 pm usually ship out the same day. Please be aware that while we strive to make sure these orders go out the same day, there may be times where this may not be possible. In these cases, the orders will go out the next day.

Orders placed after 2 pm will go out the next day.

Orders placed on Friday and orders placed on the weekend will go out the following Monday.

East Coast Hoppers is not responsible for items heating or freezing while in transit.  When ordering temperature sensitive items such as liquid yeasts or Biofine Clear we highly recommend paying the extra and getting priority shipping to get it to you quickly.

We do add ice packs, free of charge, to help regulate the temperature when shipping liquid yeasts but there are a few other things to consider:

It is best to order these types of items over the weekend so they ship out on Monday and have the best chance of arriving during the week.

Please have a look at the weather forecast to see if there is any extreme temperature or weather events in the near future that could impact the time it takes for your package to arrive.  We advise against shipping things like liquid yeasts when it is going to be +/-30°C during the time your package will be in transit or using a method such as flat rate shipping during the hottest part of the summer or coldest part of the winter.

We reserve the right to update our shipping policy at any time.
