Very high quality stainless steel kettles complete with two welded handles, two welded 1/2 inch female NPT ports, a stainless steel ball valve, 1/2 inch NPT nipple (to attach ball valve to kettle), 3 inch dial (2 inch probe) thermometer and lid. These kettles also have graduated volume markings that are stamped into the metal (not etched) which are visible both inside and out.
These kettles do not include a hose barb. A male 1/2 inch NPT hose barb would be required to attach tubing to the ball valve.
These kettles do not have a thick, induction ready bottom and are not designed for stovetop or induction brewing (they may rock about when boiling). If you are planning to brew on the stovetop or on an induction burner, you should look for an induction ready kettle. Feel free to contact me for a quote.
The 8 gallon (30L) size is perfect for 5-6 gallon batches and the 16 gallon (60L) size is ideal for 10-12 gallon batches.
