A brown malt from our dry roasted malts is made from kiln dried pale malt and  gives a 60 SRM colour and 1.2% moisture.

Brown malt, having a slightly higher color imparts a dry, nutty, mild coffee flavor and a darker amber hue. 

Typically used to produce Bitter and Mild Ales, Stouts and Porters.
