PBW is a non-caustic, alkaline, environmentally and user friendly cleaner that is used in brewing all across North America. It is gentle enough not damage gaskets, metals, or skin but strong enough to clean hard to reach areas of items and remove thick, difficult, caked-on organic soils.
Use 1 to 2 ounces (28-56g) per gallon (4L) for cleaning kettles, fermenters, kegs, tanks, and other equipment. Soak equipment overnight in solution; rinse the following morning for no scrubbing required!
