Canada Malting rice flakes are mash ready and provide a light, crisp finish to your beverage. Like corn flakes, rice flakes are added to increase fermentables in the wort while lightening the body and flavor. Typically used in American lagers and cream ales however it can be used in just about any beverage style. Rice hulls are recommended in the mash when going over 10% to improve filterability and prevent stuck sparges.
