This yeast produces a very malty, bock-like beverage. It does not finish as dry as WLP830. It’s much slower in the first generation than WLP830, so we encourage using a larger starter during the first generation or scheduling a longer lagering time.

This yeast is a great substitute for Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager
