This yeast is used to produce the “California Common” style beverage. A unique lager strain, it has the ability to ferment up to 65°F (18°C) while retaining lager characteristics. Can also be fermented down to 50°F (10°C) to produce märzens, pilsners and other style lagers.
This yeast is a great substitute for Wyeast 2112 California Lager
