PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: I understand that yeast is close to it's best before date and will require a starter to be made with it before use. It is up to the brewer to determine if this yeast is appropriate for their equipment and techniques.
Dry, malty ale yeast. Provides a complex, oakey ester character to your beverage. Hop bitterness comes through well. This yeast is well suited for classic British pale ales, bitters, and stouts. Does not flocculate as much as WLP002 and WLP005.
This yeast is a great substitute for Wyeast 1028 London Ale
